The offset firebox provides you with the heat and smoke flavor to slow cook your favorite foods. Whether the wood is cherry, mesquite, hickory, pecan, or any personal recipe for taste, nature provides the flavor and this grill gives you the means to do it the way the pros do. The American Gourmet Deluxe is a great way to take the next step in barbecuing. Char Broil knows barbecuing and wants you to get the most flavor, satisfaction, and compliments out of using our products. Please notice the little things like the smoke stack. While it appears to be a standard placement at the top of the cooking chamber, the bottom half actually runs down into the cooking chamber almost to the cooking grid. Why? Smoke rises of course, and Char Broil knows that the smoke provides the flavor. By insetting the smoke stack the grill builds more smoke and flavor into the food making it possible to truly infuse whatever you may be barbecuing with the natural aroma and flavor from the firebox. If it is your preference you can also use it as a standard charcoal grill. Simply put charcoal underneath the cooking grates in the main chamber and you are ready to go.
